Position Overview
CESI Civil Geotechnical Surveying is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer to design and permit civil engineering projects of various types from our Concord or Statesville, North Carolina offices. The role involves interfacing with a broad range of clients and guiding projects through the permitting process.
What You Will Do
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel to complete project work
- Collaborate with fellow engineers on projects
- Coordinate with clients to address their specific needs
- Mentor junior engineers
- Complete permits and design for diverse civil engineering projects
- Interact with a wide range of individuals
- Participate in community meetings, public hearings, and related events
- Oversee project development to ensure it meets specifications
- Manage projects and direct Engineers-in-Training and interns as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Ability to communicate with a variety of individuals
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Team oriented
- Authorized to work in the United States
