Professional Engineer

Position Overview

CESI Civil Geotechnical Surveying is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer to design and permit civil engineering projects of various types from our Concord or Statesville, North Carolina offices. The role involves interfacing with a broad range of clients and guiding projects through the permitting process.

What You Will Do

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel to complete project work
• Collaborate with fellow engineers on projects
• Coordinate with clients to address their specific needs
• Mentor junior engineers
• Complete permits and design for diverse civil engineering projects
• Interact with a wide range of individuals
• Participate in community meetings, public hearings, and related events
• Oversee project development to ensure it meets specifications
• Manage projects and direct Engineers-in-Training and interns as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Ability to communicate with a variety of individuals
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Team oriented
• Authorized to work in the United States
