Sheet Metal Engineer II

Advanced Energy Ideas is seeking a Sheet Metal Engineer II to join its Mesa, Arizona operations. This onsite role focuses on sheet-metal modeling, manufacturing planning, cost estimation, and documentation control, with ongoing process improvements under the General Manager. US citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Create sheet-metal models in SolidWorks
• Organize and maintain product documentation and specifications
• Conduct design-for-manufacturability (DFM) reviews for new products
• Identify methods to boost productivity, reduce production costs, and improve yield
• Generate manufacturing documents and integrate them into document control and quality systems
• Identify potential process, equipment, and material improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues to maintain product integrity
• Maintain a complex ERP system managing BOMS, production routes, sub-jobs, and purchasing

Requirements

• 5 years in the sheet metal engineering field
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Proficient in Excel
• Proficient in Paperless Parts
• US citizenship required
• Mechanical Engineering experience: 5 years (Required)
• Engineering experience: 5 years (Required)
