Job Description

Flexjet is looking for a Software Engineer II to help design, develop, and support full-stack software solutions in an onsite setting in Daytona Beach, FL. This role supports end users and partners across teams while working through the full software lifecycle, with a focus on Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and support full-stack software solutions using Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
  • Review technical requirements and translate them into designs for new components and applications.
  • Own new and existing products and applications through their lifecycle.
  • Advise and support colleagues when your expertise helps move shared goals forward.
  • Introduce new solutions to your product area and to teammates when aligned with business needs.
  • Stay current on advancements in technologies and development techniques.
  • Collaborate across departments and with end users by contributing in development, technical design, and support roles.

What you bring

  • 5+ years as a software developer, including demonstrated experience across multiple applications.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or 2 additional years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience building applications with Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design principles, distributed systems, microservices, and database design.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with C#/.NET APIs, Visual Studio, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Working knowledge of Angular, including component architecture, state management, responsive design, and performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and adopt software as needed.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing and complex environment.
  • Self-motivation and independence, with relationship management skills.
  • A focus on building high-quality systems using software implementation best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong interpersonal skills that support a team culture.
  • Motivation to drive team solutions rather than independent heroism.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
