Job Description

Support Engineer for Amazon Robotics ARTS team, onsite in Reading, MA, with a salary range of USD 90,400 to 158,200 per year, delivering 24x7 technical support for robotic fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in depth diagnostics and resolve critical robotic system issues through advanced data analysis and technical troubleshooting.
  • Provide timely, accurate solutions to customer requests via effective ticket management.
  • Lead high severity incident response, coordinating across technical teams and business lines to drive rapid resolution of critical robotic system issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement by creating technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and SOPs; design and optimize automated workflows to enhance team efficiency and robotic system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Master's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to executives and non technical leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and effective communication, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
  • Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems.
  • Experience in an AWS environment, including VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, SQS, CloudFormation and Lambda.
  • Experience working with databases and SQL.
  • Experience in automation or monitoring frameworks, deployment or development.
  • Experience scripting or programming in Ruby, Python, Shell/Bash, Java, C/C++, C*, Perl, or similar languages.
  • 4+ years in a technical role, preferably in support engineering or system administration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
