Job Description

This onsite role in Houston places you at the center of strategy and client impact, with a competitive salary range of $125,300 to $208,800 per year. You’ll drive growth in roadway design, bridge programs, traffic engineering, and transportation planning, while collaborating with national delivery resources to expand Woolpert’s Texas presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities with a diverse client base.
  • Extend the Texas footprint beyond TxDOT to cities and counties.
  • Strengthen existing client relationships to surface additional projects across service lines and the firm.
  • Shape strategic pursuits and teaming arrangements to win work.
  • Identify and cultivate new client connections aligned with the service line focus and overall strategy.
  • Drive sustained revenue growth for Texas transportation initiatives.
  • Promote Woolpert as an industry leader to both new and existing clients in the market and services.
  • Assist project managers in negotiating project schedule, fees, scope, and contract terms as needed.
  • Mentor project managers in sales activities, client introductions, and interview coaching.
  • Leverage national delivery capabilities to support project execution.

Requirements

  • BA/BS with 15 years of related experience, or MA/MS with 10 years of related experience.
  • Established relationships within TxDOT and/or local agencies.
  • Current professional registration, if applicable.
  • Accountable for approximately $10 million in annual sales.
  • A track record of winning and delivering on projects.
  • Ability to think beyond the next pursuit and pursue strategic growth.
  • A desire to build, lead, and make a lasting impact.
  • Willingness to travel to meet the needs of the practice area.
  • Enterprising, innovative, proactive management approach with demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Applicants must have work authorization for the country where the job is located.
