Electrical Engineer

Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer for commercial and light industrial projects, based in St. Louis, MO, with options in Belleville, IL or Lexington, KY, and a salary range of USD 85,000 - 115,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of electrical systems for commercial and light industrial projects, covering power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, emergency power, and specialty systems, to support bidding and construction.
• Prepare technical specifications, perform code reviews, and stamp documents requiring certification.
• Develop plans using AutoCAD and Revit as needed for plan production.
• Review, verify, and stamp electrical drawings to ensure compliance with Illinois and Kentucky regulations.
• Prioritize client relationships through strong performance and creative solutions aligned with client objectives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to engineers and designers within the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence
