Field Service Engineer
Job Description
Field Service Engineer role focused on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting JEOL scientific instruments in the Albuquerque, NM area.
Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose and repair electron microscopes within an assigned territory
- Systematically analyze the root cause of issues affecting customers’ instrumentation
- Resolve instrument problems, or prepare reports with findings and recommendations
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and supervisors to support customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in an appropriate area of engineering and/or science (required)
- Minimum 6 months related experience (required)
- Solid electromechanical understanding and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of and ability to apply analog and digital electronics
- Valid license and passport
- Travel up to 30% overnight anticipated
- Excellent customer service skills
- Electronics experience: 1 year (required)
- Willingness to travel: 25% (required)

Salary
- USD 60,000 - 65,000 per year
- Pay range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
