Responsibilities

Provide daily on-site support to Government and DoD personnel to maintain the security and reliability of the ISSE Guard and TMPC Network.
Execute maintenance tasks, patching, STIG implementations, troubleshooting, and vulnerability management for mission critical Linux systems.
Deliver full network engineering support covering planning, design, configuration, and ongoing operations.
Assess TMPC Network and LAN components and recommend new technologies to enhance mission capabilities.
Stay informed about evolving tactical capabilities and contribute to TMPC lifecycle development and modernization efforts.
Perform periodic security testing, support accreditation and certification documentation, and implement system upgrades.
Maintain LAN infrastructure, including firewall administration, access control management, VPN configuration, and switch/router updates aligned with baseline standards.
Develop solutions to complex technical challenges and share best practices across government and contractor teams.
Create, update, and refine security documentation; manage security activity schedules; and produce weekly and monthly LAN configuration reports.
Support information assurance and certification activities, advising stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience administering Linux servers and workstations in small, complex network environments.
Proficiency with Linux system administration and file transfer protocols.
Active IAT Level II certification such as Security+.
US Citizen.
Currently holds an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.
