Job Description

This contingent Software Engineer role within the Technology Department will support the Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) ecosystem at an on-site location in Irving, TX. The position emphasizes Java-based microservices and APIs, transaction reporting and fraud detection data pipelines, operational support through incident resolution and CI/CD, and front-end stabilization using React.

Role Focus

  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for anti-money laundering and regulatory reporting capabilities.
  • Build and optimize transaction reporting and fraud detection data pipelines.
  • Contribute to platform reliability through incident resolution and CI/CD-related modernization efforts.
  • Support improvements and stabilization of React-based front-end applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs supporting critical anti-money laundering and regulatory reporting functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and modernize applications within the CTR ecosystem.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using Python and Spark to support accurate transaction reporting and fraud detection.
  • Participate in incident resolution, CI/CD practices, and modernization initiatives to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the stabilization of front-end applications using React to support a consistent user experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Proficiency in Python and Spark, including creating data pipelines.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, specifically GCP, with emphasis on building cloud competency.
  • Experience with AI tooling such as Github Copilot is a plus.
  • Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work effectively in a team environment.
