Software Engineer - Chip Validation

C++ Software Engineer role on the AI Infrastructure Silicon Validation team building software that validates and stress-tests AI infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain C++ test applications to verify performance and correctness of AI infrastructure
• Integrate third-party SDKs and low-level APIs to interact with compute hardware, including NVIDIA CUDA
• Create reusable, modular validation frameworks using modern object-oriented design patterns
• Own validation features end-to-end, from technical requirements through delivery, debugging, and documentation with minimal supervision
• Find and resolve issues such as software bugs, memory problems, and API integration edge cases in a Linux engineering environment

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in core C++, including modern standards such as C++14 and C++17
• Deep understanding of classes, inheritance, polymorphism, and memory management
• Ability to read documentation, learn new technical SDKs, and implement integrations, specifically CUDA APIs
• Proficiency with POSIX multi-threading
• Comfort building, compiling, and running applications in Linux (e.g., CMake / Make)
• Proven ability to work autonomously: complete coding tasks, keep test code clean, and troubleshoot effectively

Additional Details

• Salary: USD 125,794 - 200,000 per year
• Minimum experience: 6 years
