Level 3 Systems Engineer

Lead advanced systems support and engineering for managed clients in an in-office role in New Bern, NC.

Responsibilities

• Resolve advanced technical escalations and complex support incidents
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues across servers, networking, cloud platforms, and security solutions
• Configure, maintain, and support client infrastructure and business-critical systems
• Manage complex Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
• Collaborate with service and project teams to deliver effective client solutions
• Create, update, and maintain internal and client-facing documentation
• Identify recurring issues, determine root causes, and implement long-term fixes
• Recommend technology, infrastructure, and security improvements to clients
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of systems administration, engineering, or advanced IT support experience
• Previous MSP experience strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client environments simultaneously
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Team-oriented mindset with commitment to continuous improvement
• Must possess reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to work onsite at the New Bern, NC office
• Hold a valid driver’s license
