Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain reliable, scalable, robust and extensible big data systems that support core products and business needs.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using optimal ETL patterns and frameworks, sourcing from structured and unstructured data to ensure data is accessible and usable across the organization.
- Ingest data from APIs, Hive tables and other sources to process and store large data volumes while preserving accuracy, consistency and security.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams and system documentation for efficient data management and analysis.
- Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks and systems to accelerate the development of data artifacts.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs and present key insights in meaningful ways.
- Analyze and visualize data to provide business stakeholders with actionable, impactful insights.
- Establish solid design and engineering best practices for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics and data engineering, including data cleaning and preprocessing, data ingestion and ETL, data analysis and dashboard development.
- 1+ years of experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position in Seattle, WA is $129,960 - $246,240 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses or restricted stock units as part of the total compensation package.
