Machine Learning Engineer Graduate (Global E-commerce Recommendation/Search) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)
Job Description
This role focuses on global e-commerce recommendation and search, with onboarding planned by the end of 2026.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a team to advance research in machine learning algorithms, including retrieval and recommendation methodologies.
- Contribute to building large-scale e-commerce recommendation systems (10 million to 100 million data points) across commodity, live stream, and short video recommendations.
- Develop long and short term user interest models, analyze vast diverse datasets, and design efficient algorithms to uncover latent user interests.
- Apply machine learning techniques to improve business scenarios such as search ranking, natural language understanding, video understanding, and trust and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning, with experience in natural language processing and personalization.
- Exceptional coding skills with solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Linux development environments.

Job Information
- Base salary range: $124,717 – $243,200 per year (USD).
- Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
- Base pay is part of the Total Package and may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
