Responsibilities
- Maintain and renew system security accreditations.
- Collaborate within Xacta, GreenLight, and Rapid7 environments and with onsite Information System Security Managers.
- Prioritize multiple projects and guide applications smoothly through the accreditation lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience developing and reviewing security concepts of operations, systems security plans, security control assessments, contingency plans, configuration management plans, incident response plans, plan of actions and milestones, risk management plans, vulnerability scanning, and vulnerability management plans.
- Documented experience with Xacta, GreenLight, and RMF processes (Rev4 and Rev5).
- Demonstrated cloud security design experience, requirements analysis, control implementation, and mitigation, including securing applications in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services.
- Strong knowledge of A&A policy and guidance, including ICD-503, FISMA, RMF/A&A processes, NIST SP (800-27, 800-30, 800-37, 800-53, 800-60, 800-137, 800-144, 800-145), FIPS (199, 200), CNSSI 1253 controls, and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation.
- Experience performing security system scans for network, platform, database, and web services using tools such as Nessus, Rapid7, WebInspect, and AppDetective.
- Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally and present reports to management.
- Proven ability to work with developers and engineers to determine appropriate mitigations for vulnerabilities, deliver quality outputs on time, and provide regular status updates.
- Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures, with a knack for identifying anomalies.
- Creative problem solving and strong root-cause analysis capabilities, presenting viable solutions to management.
- Professional work ethic, reliability, and initiative.
- Certifications: CISSP, CASP.
- Experience with cloud security design, requirements analysis, control implementation, and mitigation.
- Experience with JIRA and managing security-based requirements.
- Project or program management experience.
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, or work experience.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Clearance: TS/SCI + Polygraph; Location: Herndon, VA; Core Hours: 9 am to 3 pm; US citizenship required.
