Agentic Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into structured tasks, prompts, and validation criteria for AI agent teams.
• Coordinate delivery activities across architecture, development, quality assurance, user experience, and technical documentation workflows.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for code quality, security, compliance, and release readiness before merge or deployment.
• Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle activities, including requirements, build, integration, testing, and release support.
• Support GPS client engagements by accelerating technology modernization efforts in public sector environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, software architecture, quality engineering, site reliability engineering, or DevOps.
• 2+ years of experience with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted software delivery workflows.
• Experience using integrated development environments, version control systems, and software delivery tools.
• Experience with software development life cycle activities including requirements, design, development, testing, and release.
• Experience validating technical deliverables against quality, security, or compliance requirements.
• Ability to travel 10-50% on average, depending on the work and client engagements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
