Position description

CGI is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer who will play a critical role in resolving complex information assurance challenges and integrating advanced processes to address total system and technology problems tied to IA requirements. This position is based in Columbus, OH, on site.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical and systematic problem-solving skills to address intricate workflow, organizational, and planning challenges
• Lead security engineering activities from planning and design through development, testing, demonstration, and integration of sophisticated information systems

Requirements

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience
• DOD Secret Clearance
• Must be eligible for IT I
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS
• Computing environment includes Trellix IPS manager and Check Point IPS Blade
• Four (4) years of experience creating customized signatures using SNORT
