Data Engineer

LTM is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. The position centers on data integration and transformation for a customer data platform, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 140,000 per year and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable Python code and applications that underpin the customer data platform operations.
• Utilize Python expertise to automate data processing workflows and improve data quality.
• Apply ETL concepts to design and implement extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Leverage ANSI SQL to query and manipulate large datasets within the customer data platform environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate customer data from diverse sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Analyze complex data sets to support business insights and decision making.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in Python development and customer data management.
• Lead the development and optimization of ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Design data models and schemas to support efficient data storage and retrieval in the customer data platform.
• Troubleshoot data related issues to minimize downtime and preserve data integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers on Python programming and ETL best practices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processing efficiency and platform scalability.
