This onsite role in Jersey City places you at the center of client engagements, collaborating with Engagement Managers, project teams, and cross-functional technical groups to transform requirements into dependable data assets.

In this capacity, you will take the lead on initiatives that improve data processes, optimize workflows, and drive operational outcomes for our clients through best-practice patterns and effective data governance.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable batch and near-real-time data pipelines on AWS to support analytics workloads.
  • Design robust ingestion approaches from source systems into S3 and Snowflake.
  • Create transformation layers and curated datasets in Snowflake, incorporating dimensional and data-product modeling for analytics and downstream applications.
  • Establish orchestration and workflow automation on AWS, including retry logic, backfills, and idempotent processes.
  • Develop reusable Python components for ingestion, validation, and transformations; enforce standards through code reviews and testing.
  • Support Snowflake performance and cost optimization via warehouse sizing, concurrency patterns, query tuning, clustering/micro-partitions, and workload isolation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into clearly defined datasets and data contracts.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project teams, and cross-functional technical and business representatives, escalating issues when engagement management input is needed.
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement, optimization, and transformation, implementing leading-practice workflows and driving operational outcomes.

  • Experience with data integration frameworks and orchestration tools.
  • Working knowledge of lakehouse/warehouse architectures and ELT patterns.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles: CI/CD, version control, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Ability to optimize data storage, partitioning, file formats (Delta, Parquet), and overall performance.
  • Insight into data quality, data governance, and metadata management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
