Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-installation site visits to confirm proper storage conditions and environmental readiness before equipment arrival, and communicate potential risks before commissioning to minimize rework and delays.
  • Lead the management and resolution of punch list items for large-scale data center installations, ensuring projects meet schedule and scope requirements.
  • Oversee warranty-related issue resolution, collaborating with internal teams and customers to deliver timely solutions and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and address electrical issues in low and medium voltage power distribution systems, including troubleshooting control circuits and electrical components.
  • Support installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of LV and MV equipment in data center projects, ensuring proper integration and performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries about punch lists, warranties, and technical matters, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and contractors through professional, timely support.
  • Provide field-based feedback to project and quality program managers, contributing to process improvements and long-term reliability through lessons learned sharing.
  • Provide primary site support in the Indiana / Ohio area with up to 80 percent travel across the United States; respond to emergencies and rapid-reaction assignments as needed.
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation of warranty claims, technical issues, and punch list resolutions, and deliver detailed status reports and actions taken.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 4+ years of experience in power distribution systems, including low and medium voltage (480V-38kV).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including low and medium voltage switchgear, breakers, and control circuits.
  • Strong working knowledge of power distribution systems, including testing, commissioning, and start-up procedures.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based, hands-on role providing technical support and resolving complex issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
  • Willingness to participate in emergency and relief assignments, with up to 80% travel for national site visits.
  • Based remotely within the Indiana / Ohio area to support EA’s geography and business partners.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and minimum age of 21 to participate in Siemens vehicle program.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
