Principal Software Engineer (SWE-4)

Leidos is seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer (SWE-4) to join the Intelligence Sector onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This role centers on developing and managing software for mission data discovery, combining application development with DevOps infrastructure in a collaborative environment. The position offers a salary range of USD 131,300 to 237,350 per year, along with a benefits program designed to support growth, stability, and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Mission Focus: assess security aspects of web services on Android and OSX, and build automation tools to scrape data and interact with public and private APIs.
• Technical Proficiency: apply strong experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, and shell scripting to deliver robust software solutions.
• Qualifications: combine a Bachelor's degree with eleven years of relevant development experience, or an equivalent level of expertise.
• Security Clearance: candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
• Desirable Skills: additional experience with Android development, browser automation using Selenium, reverse engineering, and familiarity with AI concepts.
