Senior Competence Engineer - Electrical

ASML seeks a Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer in San Diego, CA (onsite) to maintain and enhance electrical systems across diverse semiconductor environments, prioritizing safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance electrical systems across ASML facilities, including offices, technical labs, ISO7 cleanrooms, and manufacturing areas.
• Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high quality results.
• Ensure safe operation and ongoing maintenance of all facility electrical systems.
• Plan and execute electrical upgrades and related projects.
• Oversee the electrical infrastructure across multiple semiconductor environments, covering offices, labs, cleanrooms, and production floors.
• Apply strong technical knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical infrastructure, including electrical distribution, lighting, motors, power panel distribution, MCCs, VFDs, emergency power generation, and UPS systems.
• Maintain compliance with building codes, fire and life safety regulations, and OSHA requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Partner with cross functional teams to optimize energy use and sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct inspections and recommend improvements for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external partners to implement best practices.
• Document processes and communicate changes and results clearly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in facilities management or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and relevant tools.
• Proven track record of collaboration and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Strong technical knowledge in low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems, grounding, transformation of primary and secondary utility voltages, and OSHA/NFPA requirements for electrical systems/gear.

Compensation

Salary: USD 102,375 - 153,563 per year
