Farm Credit Services of America is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise data solutions that strengthen operational processes, analytics, reporting, and AI capabilities. In this onsite role in Omaha, you will translate business requirements into trusted, scalable, and efficient data products used across the organization.
You will work across the enterprise data ecosystem, building pipelines, models, and curated datasets while partnering with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver reliable data foundations for reporting, dashboards, self-service analytics, and AI initiatives.
What Youβll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and data products using modern cloud data platform technologies.
- Build and optimize database structures, data models, semantic models, transformations, and reusable data assets for operational, analytical, and AI workloads.
- Integrate data across applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party solutions using modern integration patterns.
- Maintain data quality, performance, reliability, security, and scalability through testing, monitoring, automation, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and software engineering teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Create and maintain curated datasets, business metrics, and consumption-ready data products for reporting, dashboards, self-service analytics, and AI initiatives.
- Develop and support reports, dashboards, visualizations, and analytical solutions as appropriate, partnering with Business Insights & Analytics to enable enterprise reporting and decision support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data, integration, reporting, and performance issues while continuously improving engineering practices and data delivery processes.
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, automation, and continuous improvement across the enterprise data ecosystem.
What You Bring
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or MIS (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, analytics, reporting, or data integration.
- Masterβs degree or other advanced degree (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: USD 114,380 - 177,300 per year. Incentive opportunity: 10% - 20%.
