Mid-Career Systems Engineer - Regional Strike Programs (FALL START)

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a mid-career Systems Engineer to join the Regional Strike Programs team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This onsite role focuses on hardware, requirements, and Integration and Test within a cross-functional environment, contributing to defense programs with a fall start. The position emphasizes hands-on engineering work, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.

Role and objectives

As a systems engineer for the Regional Strike Program, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for multiple facets of systems engineering, including hardware considerations, requirements development, and Integration and Test (I&T).

Responsibilities

• Participate as a systems engineer on the Regional Strike Program, contributing to hardware, requirements, and Integration and Test tasks within a cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Agile experience preferred.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire; U.S. citizenship required; must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary

Combined Salary Range: USD 118,519.00 – 131,482.00 per year. This range reflects typical compensation based on experience and geographic location, with adjustments possible by factors such as qualifications and market conditions.
