Overview

This role centers on delivering comprehensive systems engineering and architectural work for a large scale program. The successful candidate will collaborate with Integrated Product Team counterparts to produce rigorous systems engineering artifacts, define, allocate, and trace requirements, and support verification activities. The position involves developing and maturing a Weapon System design within the Sentinel program, and establishing robust modeling practices to enable seamless collaboration across teams. System architecture will be modeled with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, capturing behavioral, structural, and analytical aspects of the solution, while contributing to ongoing requirements development and management.

Responsibilities

• Support the team through the full systems engineering life cycle, from use-case development to verification.
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Team counterparts to produce rigorous systems engineering and design artifacts, working with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature a Weapon System design for a large-scale program.
• Define requirements and ensure they are allocated and traceable throughout the program.
• Ensure that requirements are accurately represented in the system model.
• Perform functional decomposition and interface definition to support system integration.
• Support verification activities and associated validation efforts.
• Develop the system architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture, modeling behavioral, structural, and analytical aspects of the solution.
• Contribute to ongoing requirements development, management, and analysis.
• Establish unifying modeling techniques, procedures, and processes that enable seamless model development, tool integration, and team collaboration.

Requirements

Principal Systems Engineer

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master, 1 year with a PhD.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
• Special Access Program (SAP) clearance with access to CJ1.

Senior Principal Systems Engineer

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a Master, 4 years with a PhD.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
• Special Access Program (SAP) clearance with access to CJ1.
