Job Description
Responsibilities
- Translate customer contractual needs and requirements into targeted test solutions that acknowledge schedule and budget constraints.
- Develop and direct the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for segment testing.
- Coordinate integrated testing activities across teams and disciplines.
- Support the development of the program Integrated Test Plan (ITP) for the Command Systems segment.
- Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure the test program is complete.
- Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare system-level evaluations.
- Oversee supplier test activities in support of verification and validation efforts.
- Develop proof-of-concept test methodologies to enable early risk reduction testing and build confidence in engineering solutions before formal verification and validation.

- Convert contractual requirements into actionable element test solutions while accounting for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Lead creation and execution of broad test plans, procedures, and segment testing timelines.
- Coordinate comprehensive, integrated testing efforts across the program.
- Assist in shaping the Integrated Test Plan for the Command Systems segment.
- Assess test requirements to ensure a complete testing program.
- Conduct technical analyses of entire systems and deliver system-level evaluations.
- Manage supplier testing activities in support of verification and validation.
- Develop early-risk reduction test concepts to validate engineering approaches ahead of verification and validation phases.
Requirements
- Principal Systems Test Engineer: 5 years with a Bachelor's in Science; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer: 8 years with a Bachelor's in Science; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher (issued within the last 6 years) and eligibility for Special Access Program certification.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in developing integrated test plans and procedures.
- 5+ years of demonstrated EMI/E3 test planning and execution experience.
- Solid understanding of systems engineering principles, DOORS database usage, requirements decomposition and allocation, and design/analysis processes.

Basic Qualifications
- US citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher (issued within the last 6 years) and ability to obtain Special Access Program certification.
- 5+ years of experience in developing integrated test plans and procedures for Principal level; 8+ years for Senior Principal level; substitution of 4 years of experience for a degree is possible.
- 5+ years of EMI/E3 test planning and execution experience.
- Understanding of systems engineering, DOORS, requirements decomposition and allocation, as well as design and analysis principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field
- Active Top-Secret clearance or higher with SAP eligibility
- Experience developing and overseeing an Integrated Test Plan (ITP)
- Experience creating and managing a supplier Statement of Work (SOW)
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and familiarity with CAMEO
- Experience with AF Test Directive 99-103
- Experience with ICBMs or DOD programs
