Define and design system architectures for new or existing software products
Develop software within an Agile development environment
Create automated test procedures for test execution teams
Collaborate with the lead test engineer and a cross-functional team of developers to build automated tools
Develop software test plans and procedures for the team's products

Principal Software Engineer: 5 years with a Bachelor's in a related field; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
Sr. Principal Software Engineer: 8 years with a Bachelor's in a related field; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance and a reinvestigation date within the last six years
Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a cross-functional Scrum team
Experience with the Atlassian toolset including Jira and Confluence
Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Principles
Experience programming in object-oriented languages (C++, Python, JavaScript)
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering MBSE languages (SysML/UML) and concepts
Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Familiar with Software Development Plans
Familiar with Software Engineering best practices
