Software Engineer/ UI Tech Lead Level 3 or 4

Software Engineer / UI Tech Lead, Level 3 or 4, onsite in Aurora, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Guide a compact, high‑performing development team focused on building and evolving UI applications deployed in cloud environments.
• Contribute hands‑on across the full stack, including backend services, frontend UI, and cloud operations.
• Extend existing UI platforms with new capabilities and features.
• Promote Agile development practices across the team and project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in Science with 5+ years of software development experience; or Master’s with 3+ years of relevant experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Requires an active Top‑Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility at time of application. Ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI‑Poly) (not required to start). Experience with full‑stack development (design, implementation, and maintenance of backend services). Ability to analyze existing UI codebases to identify improvement opportunities to extend functionality, enhance performance and scalability, and ensure maintainability. Familiarity with Agile processes. Experience producing and maintaining architectural diagrams, API specifications, and developer guides. Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and React or equivalents (Angular, Vue).
• Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience; Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Compensation

• Primary level salary range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00 per year
• Secondary level salary range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00 per year
