Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software for drafting, design, and analysis of plan sets and other technical documents, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Perform complex engineering calculations, technical evaluations, specifications, and prepare permitting applications and feasibility reports.
- Ensure all project tasks and technical documents meet company production, design, and QA/QC standards.
- Coordinate and review work with project managers and clients, and interface effectively with public agencies.
- Mentor and train junior staff, sharing technical expertise to support their growth.
- Assist with project management tasks, contribute to client relations, and conduct construction observation and field work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of job-related experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Fluency in AutoCAD Civil3D software.
- Experience in civil engineering planning, analysis and design
- Strong reasoning, mathematical, and geometrical skills.
- Aptitude for critical thinking and effectively solving complex problems.
- Understanding of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and familiarity with working alongside government agencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
