The Senior Software Engineer Sr role at PNC Financial Services Group sits within the Finance BI Reporting organization. The position is based onsite in Dallas, TX and may be located in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; or Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for quality assurance and testing activities across the product lifecycle to ensure solutions meet functional, risk, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the quality subject-matter expert for the supported line of business/domain, applying risk-based testing principles and test impact analysis
- Lead the development, coordination, and approval of test strategies, test plans, execution results, defect triage, and release readiness across multiple teams
- Oversee the use of UI and API test automation tools to improve test coverage, consistency, and efficiency
- Define and report on quality and release readiness metrics, proactively identifying and managing risk in alignment with PNCβs Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms
- Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
- Write code, test and deploy software
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software
- Maintain and debug software
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience may be considered
- Certifications are often desired

Pay Transparency
- Base Salary: $55,000.00 β $172,250.00
- Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education
- This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance
