Part-Time Submarine Systems Engineer

Part-Time Submarine Systems Engineer at CACI, onsite in Portsmouth, NH, supporting electrical, mechanical, civil and ocean engineering for Submarine Rescue and Mobility platforms, with a required DoD Secret clearance and an annual salary range of USD 90,300 - 189,600.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and review Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs).
• Assist with Deficiency Form issues and prepare Sales Cost estimates.
• Support 688 Class and 774 Class Submarine engineering and Deep Submergence projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Ocean Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (other disciplines may be considered).
• 10 years of experience with submarine and/or deep submergence systems.
• Knowledge of US Navy shipyard applications including AIM.
• Professional engineering experience performing complex calculations such as heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, and mechanical stress.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and proficiency with MS Office products.
• Proven ability to manage work in a time-sensitive operational environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
