As a Cyber Identity - CIAM Security Engineer/Consultant within Deloitte’s Cyber team, you will help design, implement, and support Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions across client engagements. The work includes configuring CIAM capabilities on leading platforms and delivering identity solutions from requirements through production support.
Role Overview
You will support end-to-end CIAM delivery, including requirements gathering, current-state assessment, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support. Responsibilities also include configuring identity capabilities such as authentication, federation, registration, multi-factor authentication, adaptive access, and customer identity lifecycle processes across supported CIAM platforms.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of CIAM solutions aligned to client digital transformation and security objectives.
- Participate in CIAM engagements covering requirements gathering, current-state assessment, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Configure and support CIAM capabilities across platforms including Transmit Security, Ping Federate, Okta, and ForgeRock, including authentication, federation, registration, multi-factor authentication, adaptive access, and customer identity lifecycle processes.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable identity solutions, producing documentation, process flows, test plans, and delivery artifacts that support implementation and client readiness.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, cyber specialists, developers, testers, and alliance or vendor teams to meet delivery milestones, resolve issues, and build trusted client relationships through quality delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a relevant field.
- 2+ years of industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience within Identity and Access Management.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with customization of Transmit Security and Ping Identity tools is required.
- Ability to travel 25% to 50% on average, based on the work performed and the clients and industries served.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred Skills
- Previous consulting or Big 4 project management experience.
- Certifications such as Ping Identity or Transmit Security certifications; CISSP, CISM, or CISA as a plus.

Compensation
The estimated wage range for this role is USD 82,600 to USD 162,800 per year, taking into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions.
