You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to ensure user needs are clearly defined, documented, and delivered in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate combines UI/UX design research, rapid prototyping, and end-to-end quality assurance to improve user workflows across scientific and archival applications.
About the Project
The NASA Life Sciences Portal (NLSP) is a deployed system that serves as the gateway for discovering and accessing archive data from investigations supported by NASAβs Human Research Program (HRP). HRP conducts research and develops technologies to help ensure humans can travel safely and productively in space. The platform leverages evidence from data collected from astronauts, animals, and plants over many decades. This data is stored in key repositories accessible through the NLSP, including the Life Sciences Data Archive (LSDA), the Lifetime Surveillance of Astronaut Health (LSAH), and Standard Measures (SM) repositories.
