Data Analytics Engineer
Job Description
Based onsite in Chantilly, VA, the Data Analytics Engineer will support the Insider Threat program by evolving ETL pipelines, designing analytical visualizations, and maintaining the platform that powers data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Advance ETL pipelines that integrate structured and unstructured data from diverse sources to meet the needs of an advanced Insider Threat program.
- Design analytical visualizations and dashboards in collaboration with Data Science and Analysis teams.
- Engage in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide support and present the visualization platform to internal customers and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with design and product management teams to implement innovative analytic and visualization approaches addressing real-world threat scenarios.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is required.
- Eight or more years of experience developing ETL pipelines using SAS, Python, or R.
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, or MySQL querying.
- Eight or more years of experience creating visual analytics reports with SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Investigator, SAS Studio, Tableau, QlikView, or similar tools.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated willingness to learn.

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $169,832. This is not a guarantee of compensation; salary is determined by experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements and could fall outside this range. View information about benefits and our total rewards program.
