Join a team supporting manufacturing growth through end-to-end tooling and capital equipment delivery. This onsite role in Bellevue, OH focuses on taking projects from early quoting and manufacturability review through launch, while improving execution quality and shop-floor performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do
Own new product introduction from RFQ to production launch. You will review customer 3D models and drawings, define manufacturing sequences, estimate cycle times, and validate overall process capability and quality before builds begin.
Develop tooling and process designs using 3D CAD and metal-forming simulation software. You will create 3D models, tooling and fixtures, and the associated technical documentation, validating material flow, blank development, springback, and forming sequences in advance of physical tryouts.
Keep manufacturing execution ready by building and maintaining accurate planning data in an ERP system. This includes BOMs, routings, work centers, standard cycle times, and operational standards so the shop can run with clear, current instructions.
Lead hands-on execution support during tooling tryouts. You will troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve OEE by reducing scrap, rework, setup times, and downtime.
Support major capital equipment initiatives by scoping and cost-justifying purchases using ROI, managing timelines and budgets, and collaborating with external vendors from selection through installation. Multiple projects may be supported at the same time.
