Arbitech, LLC is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to help advance next-generation server architecture and infrastructure solutions. This onsite role in Henderson, NV offers a clear end-to-end ownership path, from early hardware design decisions through prototyping, thermal work, and validation testing, with collaboration across firmware, BIOS, and OS.
Compensation: USD 150,000 - 160,000 per year. Job type: Full-time.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select critical high-performance hardware, including processors (CPUs/GPUs), memory modules, storage controllers, and high-speed PCIe interfaces.
- Build, modify, and validate physical prototypes using laboratory equipment to assess signal integrity and system stability.
- Analyze and optimize server systems to improve power efficiency, thermal dissipation, signal integrity, and structural compliance with industry standards.
- Partner with the imaging team (Firmware, BIOS, and OS) to troubleshoot low-level system interactions, conduct root-cause debugging, and support hardware-software integration.
- Write detailed functional and manufacturing specifications, coordinate with production partners, and review quality-control metrics to transition prototypes into mass production.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in computer hardware development, focused on high-performance server systems, complex motherboard designs, or rackmount infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of high-speed bus architectures, PCIe slot allocations, signal routing, and power distribution networks.
